HRMC Prenatal Classes Moving to Newly-Remodeled Birthing Center

Huron Regional Medical Center’s January session of prenatal classes will be held Tuesdays at 7:30 p.m. in the newly-remodeled Birthing Center on HRMC’s third floor.

The four classes, which are recommended to be taken during the third trimester of pregnancy, will be held on January 8, 15, 22 and 29. Moving the classes to the Birthing Center allow expectant parents to familiarize themselves with where the delivery experience will occur. Prenatal education classes are designed to prepare expectant parents for childbirth and are taught by certified childbirth educators.  The classes last 2-3 hours per night and include rest breaks and snacks along with a tour of the spacious and comfortable labor and delivery suites in the Birthing Center. A one-time fee of $20 covers the costs of materials for the four-class session.
