The Huron Regional Medical Center Board of Directors has named the replacement for President and Chief Executive Officer John Single. Board Chair Dr. Carl Blessinger says Beliot, Kansas native David Dick will take over for Single who is retiring after 20 years of service on March 31st. Over 30 candiadates applied for the position. Dick is bringing nearly 25 years of leadership to Huron and HRMC. He most recently served as C-E-O for nine years at Mitchell County Hospital Health Systems in Beliot, Kansas, a facility with 318 staff and numerous services. Dick has previously been C-E-O for the Hans P. Peterson Memorial Hospital in Phillip, which is a part of the Rapid City Regional Health System. Dick and his wife Cheryl, a self-employed tax accountant are in the process of moving to Huron. Single and his wife Sherrie, plan to stay in Huron when he retires.
