Huron Regional Medical Center (HRMC) honored its May Exceptional Employee of the Month, Bobbi Lucklum, PT, with a reception on Wednesday, May 9, 2018.
Lucklum, who has worked as a physical therapist for more than 30 years, was nominated by coworkers to receive the honor. According to nominating coworkers, “Bobbi is the most frequently named staff member on home health surveys as being most helpful.”
“Her compassion, respect and empathy for our patients show through in all that she says and does,” the nomination continued. “She is flexible in her schedule to meet patients’ needs – coming in early to assist for their convenience.”
HRMC’s Exceptional Employee of the Month award recognizes an employee who goes above and beyond to exceed expectations. Employees can be nominated by other employees or by a patient or visitor who witnesses exceptional service. A committee of employees from various hospital departments chooses the employee on a monthly basis and an Exceptional Employee of the Year is chosen at year-end from the 12 monthly honorees.
As May exceptional employee, Lucklum received a reception with family, friends and coworkers, a meal certificate to a local restaurant, a professional photo session and portrait, $50, a lapel pin and a special parking place for a month.
Lucklum earned her physical therapy degree from the University of North Dakota. She lives in Huron and has two grown children: Mindy, who is a pharmacist at CHI St. Alexis Health in Dickinson, North Dakota, and Drew who lives in Huron and is employed by Wilbur Ellis. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, trying to be crafty, gardening and spending time with family and friends.
Patients or visitors can nominate an exceptional employee by calling 353-6539 for a nomination form or via e-mail at [email protected].
