Howard Bar Broken Into

HOWARD, S.D. (AP) – Authorities say someone stole an undisclosed amount of cash from lottery machines at a bar in Howard and tried to break into a second.  Miner County Sheriff Larry Klinkhammer  says the burglary at the Longbranch Bar happened in the early morning hours Sunday. The burglar or burglars then tried but failed to break into Maroney’s Bar. Both businesses are on Howard’s Main Street.  No suspects have been identified.
