He says that is not addressed in the bill nor is it’s potential cost. The debate featured testimony via telephone from out of state experts on each side of the issue. One claimed that studies show the higher minimum wage will hurt youth employment. The other said several studies show no impact. The measure passed in House Judiciary on an 11 to two vote and now goes to the House floor. It has already gained approval in the State senate.
