The South Dakota State Fair officially begins today. The Fair had it’s preview day Wednesday, and those taking in the event dealt with hot, humid conditions and a high of 91 degrees. The first aid center at the State Fair is located on the far west end of the Grandstand. The State Fair also revamped it’s severe weather protocols prior to this year’s event but updating the sites and locations of severe weather shelters and off-site shelters as well.
