Hot Temps and Little Rain Forecast for Most of Eastern SD

Hot, dry conditions continue to grip much of South Dakota with little or no relief in sight.

National Weather Service Meteorologist Matt Duks says temperatures could reach into the upper 90’s later today…

A heat advisory is posted from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm for much of eastern South Dakota.

He says if you plan to work outdoors, stay hydrated with water, take frequent breaks, and seek shade when possible.

Duks says little chances of rain are forecast and look for temperatures late in the week through the weekend to reach the mid to upper 90’s.
