For the first time ever, Triple-A is projecting the number of year-end holiday travelers will top the 100-million mark. Nearly one in three Americans will take a trip this holiday season, with most of them taking a journey of at least 50 miles from home. It’s a 1.4 percent increase over last year. National Weather Service forecaster Reneee Wise says travelers in the Upper Midwest should see favorable weather….

Christmas travelers will find gas prices averaging around $2 a gallon—or 53 cents less than last year.
