The Huron City Commission has a brief agenda of items for consideration tonight. Two items are scheduled for public forum. They include a presentation of the Secretary’s Award and Certificates of Achievement for Drinking Water Excellence from the State Department of Environment and Natural Resources and a request from the South Dakota National Guard to use the 3rd and 21st Street bridges over the James River for a training at the end of April. Commissioners are scheduled to consider approval of a 12-item consent agenda. The Commission will consider an agreement with the TRANE company for a valve replacement at the Fine Arts Center and authorize the Mayor to sign the agreement. The City will also make announcements regarding an upcoming city-wide clean up in April. There are no scheduled work or executive sessions. The Huron City Commission meets at 5:30 PM at the Huron Municipal Building. The meeting is open to the public.
