Haeder Working on Financial Literacy Program for Students

South Dakota’s incoming state Treasurer is working on details of a financial literacy program for students.

Josh Haeder, who takes office in January, says it is important for young people to learn how to handle money.

Haeder says he wants to work with schools in the state to add more financial information.

Haeder says he is also wants to look at how the unclaimed property program in the Treasurers office is working.
