Grant To Help With Hunger Relief In South Dakota

Using a half million dollar grant as a starting point, Feeding South Dakota wants to raise six million dollars to expand their hunger relief services across the state.

Last year, Feeding South Dakota distributed over twelve million pounds of food, providing over ten million meals. Gassen says their goal is to cut the hunger gap in the state by fifty percent, which means they will provide nearly sixteen million meals by 2020.
