Representatives of the South Dakota Grain and Feed Association and South Dakota Trucking Association also testified against the bill. A representative of the South Dakota Farmers Union testified in support of H-B 1228. House Bill 1228 passed out of the House Ag and Natural Resources Committee with a “Do-Pass” recommendation on an eight to five vote.
