Some areas around Huron dealt with severe weather Sunday night. Sanborn and Beadle Counties were under a Severe Thunderstorm Warning until 11 PM last night. That storm dropped golf ball sized hail in Woonsocket at 10:18 last night. A second Warning was issued for a storm north of Wessington Springs for Northern Jerauld and Western Beadle Counties. That storm stayed along US Highway 281 heading north toward Wolsey. The National Weather Service did not receive any reports of hail or winds with that storm. Finally at 3 AM this morning the Weather Service in Aberdeen issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Northern Hand County. That storm too did not produce any reports of severe weather and stayed in rural areas north of Miller.
