Goehner to Replace Retiring Cumbee as Dakotaland Federal Credit Union President/CEO

With over 33 years at the helm, Dan Cumbee has announced his retirement as President and CEO of Dakotaland Federal Credit Union. As a result, the Dakotaland’s Board of Directors have completed the selection process and appointed internal candidate, Ryan Goehner as President and CEO-elect.

Goehner joined the Credit Union in 2011 as the Chief Financial Officer and resident Certified Public Accountant.  Ryan also provided direct oversight to the Dakotaland Community Insurance and Dakotaland Financial Services organizations.  Ryan and his wife, Heather, have two young sons and reside in Huron.

Cumbee will remain in his position until July of 2020, at which time he and his wife, Angie, will take full-time residence in their home in Hill City, SD.
