The Co-Chairs of the Government Operations and Audit Committee of the South Dakota Legislature have sent a letter to committee member, Senator Stace Nelson of Fulton, inviting him to present to the committee any information he has on the GEAR UP program.
Representative Jean Hunhoff of Yankton says Nelson has continued to raise questions and allegations.
Hunhoff says they want Nelson to provide more information to the committee.
Hunhoff says many of the allegations made by Nelson go beyond the authority of the committee.
GOAC meets again Tuesday and Wednesday in Pierre to continue their discussion of the GEAR UP program, and other oversight issues.
