With warm weather around the corner, the South Dakota Game, Fish and Parks Department is gearing up for vacation season and already getting reservations for camping sites at many of the state parks. Lynn Spomer is the Visitor Services Coordinator for State Parks and says they begin taking reservations 90 days before the date residents would like to show up…..
Spomer says that reservations can be made online or by calling Visitor Services….
She says the parks fill up very quickly on the weekends, but there are availabilities during the week….
Spomer adds that reservations for Custer State Park can be made at any time during the year. All reservations can be made by phone or online at camp sd dot com.
