Game, Fish & Parks Officials Advise Caution On Lakes

It’s that time of the year again where South Dakota Game, Fish and Parks Department officials are warning people about the dangers of thin ice….

That’s spokesman Chuck Schlueter.  He says if you’re ice fishing, it would be a good idea to bring along more than just a rod and tackle box….

And Schlueter says even when a lake or river ices over, the ice thickness is not always consistent…..
