Huron offers a full day of Independence Day festivities culminating in a fireworks display Thursday night.
- The 4th of July parade begins at 10:30 am with line-up at 10 am. The parade route will be north on Dakota Avenue from 9th street to 3rd street, then west on 3rd street to Illinois Avenue SW.
- There will be a flea market in Campbell Park from 10 am – 2 pm.
- You can enjoy a delicious BBQ meal including , including pork loin sandwich, beans, chips and beverage from 11 am- 2 pm in Campbell Park. The cost is only $6 per person.
- Thursday night activities in Campbell Park will feature music from Leo Jensen, Danell Nowell, and the Huron Municipal Band. The music starts at 7 pm and admission is free.
- The celebration concludes with the Ravine Lake Heights fireworks display at 10 pm. You can enjoy patriotic music on Tiger 95 while watching the display.
