Authorities have completed their investigation into the death of a Frankfort woman in December. In a joint release Tuesday night, the South Dakota Attorney Generals Office and Union County States Attorneys office say the death of 27-year-old April Simmons’ has being ruled accidental. Simmons was found will elevated levels of bupropion and injuries sustained due to a fall. Simmon was found in her ex-boyfriends town home in North Sioux City December 5th with a blunt force trauma injury to her head. North Sioux City police ruled out suicide early in investigation. A memorial fund in Simmons name has been established through Wells Fargo bank to help assist and support Simmons three year old son. Donations can be made at any Wells Fargo bank location.
