Four Arrested In Connection To September Burglaries

Huron and Mitchell may have battled each other on the football field Thursday night, but the two city’s police departments teamed up to bring four suspects into custody in relation to several burglaries in Huron in September. Officer Sam Freng says Blake Dorris, Jordan Geuke, Austin Weins and a male juvenile were initially arrested by police in Mitchell, when the foursome was located in the Mitchell area in possession of the stolen property in question. Freng say two burglaries occurred at two Huron businesses while a third took place at a vendor booth during the South Dakota State Fair. Items taken from the locations included tires, vehicle accessories, knives flashlights and stun guns. Detectives from both Mitchell and Huron conducted several interviews with the suspects.
