Forecasters Say June Looks to Be Warmer Than Normal

The best guess on what summer weather will bring is…..either side of normal.

Dennis Todey with the Midwest Climate Hub says there is not a strong climate driver right now.

Todey says the outlook for June in the northern plains looks to be warmer than normal.

He says June is normally a wet month, but could still have some dry spots.

Todey says they will watch for the development of an El Nino later this year that could have an impact on the weather from next winter into spring.
