The ESD All Conference football was announced yesterday, with five Huron Tigers selected.
Gabe Reiger and Bryce Steffen were selected on offensive line, Chipper Shillingstad at running back, Parker Broer at Defensive End, and Jett McGirr at safety.
Huron head coach Michael Schmitz said Gabe Reiger is a two time all conference selection on the O-line.
Bryce Steffen worked through injuries the last two years to become all conference this year.
Chipper Shillingstad was selected last year as a defensive back, but moved to offense as running back this year.
Parker Broer didn’t play alot of defense last year, but was selected at D-end this year.
Coach Schmitz said Jett McGirr covered the field at safety.
All five all conference players are seniors. Huron will play Pierre for the 11AA championship Friday night at the Dakotadome in Vermillion, with a 7:00 pre game on Tiger 95.
