First Reading Of Budget Approved

The 2-percent allotted for a salary increase was based on last years increase as a starting point. The Commission also approved the first reading of an ordinance designed to restrict the placement of structures within utility easements and adopted a resolution accepting the Beadle County Pre-Disaster Mitigation Plan. The Plan is a list of city-wide and county-wide projects and initiatives designed to reduce damage from natural disasters. Other towns within Beadle County have projects included in the plan
