The Huron Fire Dept. responded to a house fire at 976 Idaho SE yesterday afternoon.
Two fire trucks and an ambulance were dispatched to the location around 12:40 pm Thursday. When firefighters arrived they found heavy smoke coming from the basement.
A dehumidifer was identified as the source of the fire.
Firefighters remained on the scene until 1:45 pm.
The home suffered some smoke damage. No injuries were reported.
