The Regional Outreach Director for the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis was Huron this morning for a presentation and to get feedback from business and community leaders about the local economy.
Ron Wirtz says South Dakota’s economy is still growing but at a slower rate.
Wirtz says South Dakota isn’t growing at the same pace across the state.
Wirtz says what he heard from attendees at today’s event in Huron was mostly positive.
As Regional Outreach Director, Wirtz is responsible for tracking current business conditions across a six-state area, including South Dakota.
