Farm Credit Services of America is working to help producers impacted by this year’s drought. FCSA Senior Vice President for South Dakota Bob Schmidt says the first thing producers should do if they need help is to call their local office, and schedule an appointment.
He says their local teams can help producers identify strategies to help the manage through the drought challenges.
Schmidt says livestock producers have unique challenges with the drought, much of it centering around having enough feed.
Schmidt says FCSA also has crop insurance agents that are available to meet with customers.
