Farm Credit Services Of America Breaks Ground On New Building

Economic development officials and members of Farm Credit Services of America's Huron office take the first scoops of dirt at their future home south of Runnings

A groundbreaking in Huron Thursday marked what officials hope will enhance services to farmers and ranchers around Huron. Farm Credit Services of America is building a new nine-thousand square feet  facility, south of Runnings on South Dakota Highway 37. The new complex has a large turn around area so trucks do not have to back out of the parking area.. Farm Credit Services has been at it’s current Huron location for 35 years. Construction is set to start later this summer, when the work site dries out.  The estimated cost of the project is two-point-eight million dollars.
