Family Makes First of its Kind Donation to Huron Community Foundation

The family of two longtime Huron residents are making a generous, first of its kind donation to the Huron Community Foundation.

Verna Rodman passed away in May of this year. She was preceded in death by her husband, Blair Rodman.

Mike Rodman says he and his sister and brother are donating two cars belonging to their parents to be auctioned off with proceeds benefiting the Huron Community Foundation.

The ’92 and ’97 Lincoln Town Cars will be on display beginning today at Advance Auto Parts. They will be auctioned off online by Ben Meyer Auction Service, which is donating its services. Detailing of the two cars is being donated by Prostrollos.

In a separate act of generosity, Rodman and his siblings are also establishing a scholarship fund.

Mike currently lives in Rapid City, his brother Greg is a resident of Draper, Utah, and sister, Martie Stulken resides in Aurora.
