Surviving After Suicide Education & Support Class is designed to help people who have lost a loved one to suicide express and understand the troubling and powerful grief, stigma, pain, and guilt they experience. It is a ten-week education class and support group for survivors of suicide. Each class will focus on a unique aspect of survivor grief and includes a component in which group members shar and support each other. – You MUST PRE REGISTER – email Kelsi@trureflectionscounseling.com  Every Tuesday starting on March 31 – June 2 12:00pm – 1:30pm at Legacy Plaza

Event Description:
The Plains has been awarded the State Women’s Bowling Tournament. This tournament is expected to bring in around 500 women during the month of April.  We have decided to run a small vendor fair during these times to help local businesses thrive! We are currently looking for fashion, beauty, home decor and etc. vendors to fill our event. We are offering a 10×10 booth for $$90.00 & 10×20 booth for $150.00. Booths will come with power and tables. Advertising will also be provided by The Plains and South Dakota USBC. Huron School District’s 5th annual Business and Career Fair is April 22, 2026, at the Huron Arena.

The objective of South Dakota Week of Work is to provide a platform for students to be introduced to career opportunities in their own communities through job shadows, industry tours, and other business-classroom connections. It’s a week of exploration, with the aim of guiding students, engaging local businesses, and introducing employers to their future workforce. Think of it as a long-term investment in South Dakota’s future.
Career fairs are an opportunity for students to learn more about the industries and careers that interest them directly from community members who were once in their shoes — beginning the exciting process of discovering their talents and passions.
Whether you have an opportunity for students to gain work-based learning, are available to answer the burning questions students have about your profession, or just want to share your passions and expertise, you can make a difference in the school community — and in the lives of students.

We expect over 1,000 9th – 12th grade students from Huron and surrounding communities to attend. We encourage your display to be as hands-on, demonstrative, or as interactive as possible. There is no cost to participate.
