Huron School District Summer Grab and Go meals through August 1st. Pick up on Tuesday and Fridays from 11:30 to 12:30 at the Huron Middle School. Free for children 1-18. Parents bring children or you ID. Each bag contains 3 breakfasts and 3 lunches.

2025 National Night Out in Huron will be Tuesday August 5th from 5-8pm at Campbell Park. There will be entertainment including a donut eating contest at 7 and K-9 demonstration at 7:30. Emergency vehicles on display, raffles, games, inflatables and great information from community resources. Huron Police Department supporting National Night Out.
A benefit concert for Miss South Dakota Jamee Kattner will be held on Saturday, August 9th at Faith Alive Church 2660 Dakota Avenue South at 7pm. The event will feature Trinity Hill and other special guests. A silent auction will be held during the event including a Traeger smoker donated by On Target Drone Spraying. Proceeds will be used to pay expenses for Jamee as she competes in the Miss America competition September in Orlando.
