Huron Regional Airport became an essential landing spot on Saturday 7/9/2022 for an aircraft headed to Minneapolis. Airport Manager Larry Cooper said the Huron airport was the closest available location.
Cooper said the emergency landing at the Huron airport demonstrated the proper emergency protocol for that situation.
