Drought Map Filling Up

It appears that much of eastern South Dakota is wrapping up a very dry fall.  State Climatologist Dennis Todey says more areas are being added to the official drought map…

Todey says many areas are close to record low precipitation for the past three months…

Todey says while the dry conditions were very good for harvest, there shouldn’t be any real problems, unless the drought continues into next spring…
