Drivers Fear Distracted Driving, But Admit To Doing So

Fifty-two percent of drivers in a Triple-A survey said they feel less safe on the roads now than they did five years ago, Mark Madeja with Triple-A says their biggest concern, texting drivers;

Madeja says the results of the survey are very sobering noting that many respondents admitted to the very behavior that concerned them:

The AAA Foundation and AAA are holding their second annual Heads Up Driving Week, from September 26-October 3, to encourage drivers to drive distraction-free.  A fatal accident in Mitchell earlier this week was the result of a driver being distracted by their phone.
