Dr. Mark Belyea will move his practice and join the HRMC Physicians Clinic, effective Monday, June 24, according to David Dick, president and CEO for Huron Regional Medical Center.
Dr. Belyea has been caring for patients in Huron since 1983, most recently at Belyea Clinic in the Professional Arts Building. Beginning on June 24, he and his office support staff will see patients in the HRMC Physicians Clinic at 534 Oregon Avenue SE, which is located just to the west of his current office.
“I am thrilled to be joining the HRMC Physicians Clinic team and look forward to the support I’ll have working with Kristin Pratt, FNP, and the rest of the clinic and hospital staff,” said Dr. Belyea. “My patients will benefit with the on-site lab, X-ray, EKG and other specialists available all under one roof.”
Dr. Belyea provides health care for all members of the family from newborn to the elderly, including diagnosis and treatment, preventative care and management of chronic and complex conditions. He also sees patients in the emergency room and when they are admitted to the hospital.
“Dr. Belyea is a long-standing member of our HRMC medical staff and his addition to our clinic is an important step in building a strong primary care practice where providers, like he and Kristin, can support one another and share knowledge and expertise,” explained Dick.
Dr. Belyea is a graduate of the University of North Dakota (UND) School of Medicine in Grand Forks. He completed his Family Medicine residency at UND Affiliated Hospitals in Fargo.
Dr. Belyea will remain at Belyea Clinic through June 21. Beginning June 24, patient appointments can be made by calling 605-353-7660. Dr. Belyea’s current office phone and fax will be forwarded to his new location. Mary Hillberg will accompany Dr. Belyea in his move as reception and billing staff at HRMC Physicians Clinic.
