A stranded school bus is never a good thing.
When you factor in frigid temperatures and wind chills, the situation becomes even more serious.
It happened yesterday afternoon to a Huron school bus.
Superintendent Terry Nebelsick says the school district worked quickly to get children off the bus and delivered safely home.
Nebelsick says reduced visibility wasn’t the issue.
Nebelsick said the bus became stuck in a snow drift as the driver was attempting to turn around in a driveway.
