The budget proposal includes on-going increases of two-point-one percent for education and one-point-eight percent for Medicaid. One time increases include 12-million dollars for K-12 education and nine-million for providers. State employees will see more in their checks by way of a one-time five-percent bonus that should be given sometime in April.
