Diocese Planning Changes For Rural Congregations

The Catholic Diocese of Sioux Falls plans to change how it serves some rural congregations, as populations continue to shift from rural areas to urban centers. Some rural parishes may be consolidated or closed to reflect those dropping numbers.  Diocese spokesman Jerry Klein says they are following through on a process that Bishop Paul Swain began in 2009…
