Dimock Dairy Breaking Ground on Expansion

A long-time Mitchell area artisan cheesemaker is taking a giant step into the future. Dimock Cheese is set to break ground on a new facility on the edge of Dimock on Highway 37.

Co-owner Denny Everson says the new facility will house a retail store, expanded packaging and labeling room, enlarged refrigeration space and new office headquarters.
He says Dimock Cheese has many customers that come a long way to find them on Dimock’s Main Street.

Everson says the new location will also allow for product expansion beyond cheese into wines and possibly beer.

Everson and his co-owners Paul Weidenbach and Mike and Drew Munterfering purchased the business in 2015 from the co-op.

Ground-breaking is set for 3 pm Thursday at the new location on highway 37 at Dimock and all are welcome.
