College students who just can’t decide what they want to study now have a resource to help them make their decision. The South Dakota Department of Labor has released the Postsecondary Graduate Employment and Wage Outcome system. Department Secretary, Marcia Hultman, says the database shows the average wages of college graduates who are now in the workforce, sorted by their degree and occupation….
Hultman says there is no personal information about past students included in the system. She says that the system will hopefully aid with the workforce shortage in the state that has some industries hurting for help…
The system is designed to answer questions on many graduates are employed in South Dakota, what they are earning, and what industries they work in. The database can be found online at the Department’s website.
