Scott DeBoer was named Activities Director for the Huron School District this week. He will replace Terry Rotert, who is retiring at the end of the school year. DeBoer is a 2006 Huron High School graduate and has been assistant principal at Watertown High School the past three years. He says there was more to the decision than just a chance to come home.
He says there are a few familiar faces still here, but more new ones.
DeBoer will begin the new job on July 1.
