Beef Bucks, Inc.—a non-profit organization based in DeSmet, SD that promotes beef–will again reach a national audience thanks to a popular television game show. After appearing as a prize on the “Wheel of Fortune” three days this past January, co-founder Nancy Montross says her husband Bob kept in touch with show officials.
She says the Nov. 13 and 15 and Dec. 18 and 20 shows will each have a $1-thousand Beef Bucks prize. Montross says the organization will donate Beef Bucks to assist homeless veterans.
Montross says the organization will donate $25 worth of Beef Bucks to ten veterans and their families who can use them to purchase beef either at grocery stores or restaurants. She says Beef Bucks can be purchased in several denominations and locations.
She says you can also purchase debit cards.
Beef Bucks, Inc. was organized in 1997 and is run by an all-volunteer board of beef producers and consumers
