Daugaard Talks Budget

South Dakota will have a new governor-elect next Wednesday morning.  Republican Dennis Daugaard and Democrat Scott Heidepriem are running to replace outgoing Governor Mike Rounds.  During a stop in Watertown last weel, Daugaard was asked about the fiscal year 2012 budget deficit that lawmakers will tackle early next year….

Many states have been balancing their budgets by accepting federal money from Washington. Daugaard was asked if that’s a good idea….

He says the number one campaign issue for him is job creation….
