Daugaard Says Schools Must Adjust To Budget

The 2011 South Dakota legislature wrapped up the main run of the session on Friday by passing the budget, with most of the cuts requested by Governor Dennis Daugaard intact.  Lawmakers had found some extra money to limit the cuts to education to six point six percent, down from the ten percent in the original budget.  Daugaard says school boards have to adjust to lower state aid…
