Dakota Provisions To Enroll In Hiring Self-Complience Program With ICE

The Dakota Provisions turkey processing plant in Huron will become the first business in South Dakota to enroll in a U-S Immigrations and Customs Enforcement program designed to foster employer self-compliance with federal hiring laws. The ICE Mutual Agreement between Government and Employers or IMAGE program, is a voluntary partnership initiative between the federal government and private sector employers. IMAGE is intended to build cooperative relationships and strengthen overall hiring practices. ICE’s Homeland Security Investigations developed the program as a new concept for employer self-compliance within the work site enforcement program, through which employers can achieve a lawful workforce through self-policing hiring practices. Officials from Dakota Provisions and H-S-I will gather for a signing ceremony at the Dakota Provisions Corporate Office on February 27th
