The flow of traffic is now returning to normal following road closures and detours along some major streets in Huron due to continued sewer main lining work. City Engineer Mike Wever was asked about the status of the projects and streets while the Huron City Commission approved the final payment on a man hole restoration project….
The project to line the sewer main on Ninth Street went from Dakota, east over to Lawnridge, which left very few north to south passages along Ninth Street on the east side of Huron. Wever say the size of the main on Ninth forced contractors to change their procedure…

Wever was out of the office Tuesday afternoon and not available for further comment as to how contractors will deal with crossing Dakota Avenue at 15th Street.
