Huron, S.d. – What can be cuter than a baby’s precious smile or happy expression captured on a camera … how about 36 of them!
Huron Regional Medical Center hosted its thirteenth annual Cutest Baby Contest with a total of 36 entries being submitted to HRMC’s Facebook page during the month of March. During the month of April, community members were invited to vote daily for their favorite.
Receiving the most votes to earn the “2021 Cutest Baby” title was Jocelyn James, daughter of Alex and Megan Babcock. In the words of her grandma, “Jocelyn is just perfect. There’s no other way of putting it!” As Cutest Baby, Jocelyn received an embroidered t-shirt and keepsake blanket, a $100 photo studio credit, a gift bag filled with $100 of games, toys and safety gear and an opportunity to star in an HRMC television commercial.
Receiving the next highest number of votes in the contest was Rynn Magness, son of Justin and McKenna Ward. In the entry, her parents wrote “Rynn is the cutest because how can anyone resist big blue eyes and dimples!” As Cutest Baby runner-up, Rynn received an embroidered keepsake blanket and a gift bag filled with $50 worth of toys and safety gear.
