PIERRE, SD – Two crop-spraying planes have crashed recently in South Dakota. The pilot of one of them was killed. The National Transportation Safety Board and the Federal Aviation Administration are looking into a fatal crash near Highmore on Friday. The pilot has not been identified. The plane was registered to a Huron-based company. Another crop duster crashed on Saturday near Faith. FAA spokeswoman Elizabeth Cory says there was minor damage to the plane and the pilot was not injured.
