Yesterday, Beadle County Commissioners heard an update from Beadle County Highway Foreman Jason Fritzsche.
Commissioner Tom Hansen says the focus of the report was the condition of culverts in the county.
Hansen says the highway department will be hiring an additional person to stay on top of signage and the condition of bridges.
Hansen says the situation in Beadle County is unique.
As serious as conditions are in portions of the Beadle County, Hansen says that the county has been fortunate compared to some areas of the state.
