Cooler Temps, Less Heavy Rainfall Expected Through June

While rains may diminish a bit across the northern plains over the next few weeks, other signs of summer may be lacking.

Dennis Todey, head of the Midwest Climate Hub says heavier rains will move away for a while.

Todey says there will still be chances for rain and thunderstorms.

Todey says it looks like the rest of June will be on the cool side.

Todey says the effects of the ongoing El Nino will be felt into the fall.
