The Huron City Commission could end their meeting tonight with the hiring of a full time City Attorney. The Commission is scheduled to go into executive session for a personnel matter before considering any possible recommendation. Before the Huron City Commission gets to that point, they will meet as the Board of Adjustments to consider a variance request for the construction of a fence. Commissioners will consider a payment request and change order for a sewer main lining project. A public hearing will be held for the Huron Chamber and Visitor’s Bureau’s request for a special event alcohol license for a Chamber Mixer in October. The Commission will also consider a recommendation to approve an Experience Works employee for a Library Clerk job and a will consider a hiring recommendation for a volunteer Fire Fighter. The Huron City Commission meets tonight at 5:30 PM. The meeting is open to the public.
