Conditions approved by the Board of Adjustments include Sunbird finding the correct property lines before building and installing traps to collect the greasy sunflower by product being removed by the steaming process. The water used is to be piped to the sanitary sewer instead of the outdoor storm sewers. There will be some discussion with city departments on the proper disposal of the material washed off the equipment. Other conditions of the variance include valley gutters and the concreting of the driveway to the new building. And limited storage of materials outside of the building to maintain some visibility for traffic.
